Here we go again.....

It's official, I am registered for the 35th annual Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon on May 20, 2012.

For some reason, it was harder to click submit on my registration form for my second marathon than it was for my first. Is it because I know what's coming? Is it because I'm afraid that if I set a time goal I might not meet it? Is it because I'm afraid of not finishing? Yes; to all. And probably a host of other reasons! I'm looking forward to the challenge and I've heard great things about the Cleveland Marathon. Starting just outside Browns Stadium, going by the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; fun!!!! Plus, we have family in the area, so I'm hoping some might come down to support me. Or, at the very least, help entertain the kids!

I'm excited! Hoping the journey to the starting line is just a little bit calmer than my first marathon journey.

Only 234 days to go!

  1. So exciting!! :) I too, took the plunge and signed up for a May marathon (here in VA.) Looking forward to following your training. :)

  2. Good for you! Wishing you all the best and I look forward to following you on your journey!

  3. You shouldn't be worried. You will do great. Have fun training, and I will be looking forward to the race report. I will probably be doing the Flying Pig in Cinci.

  4. Brilliant!! How exciting. Look forward to hearing all about your training and perhaps sharing long run stories as I work towards my 1st marathon. Good on you - what a great role model for your kids. :-)

  5. Yay! Welcome to the blog world! It's so glad to see you on here and I look forward to following your thoughts. :)

  6. So excited for you! Cleveland is one of my favorites! Good luck with your recovery from the first and training for the second! :)
