Training week 17 didn't start off as well as I had hoped since I was still getting over the stomach virus. Tuesday I was feeling much better, and had a nice easy paced run. I woke up Wednesday not sure if I would feel up to running 800s, but I felt good after my warm-up miles and was able to complete 4 1/2 mile repeats when my schedule only called for 3, yay!
I moved my long run to Sunday instead of my typical Saturday so I could run with friends. Always more fun to run with friends! My schedule called for 15 miles today, but after two days of mulching my back was protesting, so I decided it call it quits for the day. No reason to push it with only a week left!
Other than a few easy miles this week, my training is over. This is the FINAL COUNTDOWN to Cleveland!
I've got my game plan that includes an A, B, & C goal so I can adjust as necessary during the race.
I am READY! I am EXCITED!

Monday: 1.75 miles
Tuesday: 5.26 miles
Wednesday: 8.1 miles with 4 x 1/2 mile repeats
Friday: 3.25 miles
Sunday: 13.11 miles
Total for week 17 of marathon training: 31.47 miles
